Chinese Class for Volunteer Teachers
At the request of Kyoto City International Foundation, a Chinese culture course had been held at ICC. Since the launch in June 2014 there had been 12 seminars over six months. Starting with a survival Chinese conversation class, each seminar was followed by a Chinese culture lecture, where participants learned different topics at each seminar about Chinese culture and issues as they deepened their understanding of and interests in China. All the participants were so highly motivated to learn that every class was filled with questions and laughter all the way through, and their great enthusiasm led to frequent gatherings after the seminars to exchange information and continue the discussion. We are so happy to have had such enjoyable and meaningful seminars.
