It is important for those who live in Japan to understand Japanese laws in order to prevent troubles.
Lawyer Nakamine Masafumi explained Japanese Labor laws and taught us and the audience about our rights as a foreign worker in Japan at ICC’s office on June 21 (Sunday) 2015. The lecture was in Japanese but our staff translated in English.
Whether you are Japanese citizens or a foreigner, laws such as the Labor Standard Laws and Minimum Wages Law are applied to you. However, some employers do not obey them.
By knowing the law and your rights, you will be able to be alert and consult us at ICC about any problems with your employer or unfair treatments in your workplace, for example.
