Nepal Earthquake Relief Fundraiser

Thank you for your collaboration. The funds collected for earthquake relief in Nepal will be send to the Japan Red Cross Society.

On April 25 2015, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal and its capital Kathmandu. Death toll is more than 7000 persons as of May 2th. Rescue missions are ongoing but due to the amplitude of this disaster, it is a humanitarian crisis.
International Community Club helps foreigners living in Kyoto and has in the past collected relief funds for 2013 Philippines’ Disaster. This time too, we are organizing a fundraiser to help even a little bit local communities in Nepal.
The fundraiser event was held at Sanjo and Kawaramachi’s crossing on May 24th and May 31th.
We have raised ¥28,651JPY in total.
This fundraiser is organized in partnership with Kyoto International Foundation (Kokoka). All the funds will be send to Japanese Red Cross Society.
